About fashTECH
fashTECH is an annual workshop organized by Ewuraba.com, Gender Development Project as a forum for equipping African women with the skills and knowledge the need to promote and sustain their creative ventures and enterprises. The workshop also enables African women to share, interact and learn from the individual experiences and network with each other.
fashTECH 2009 was organized on September 4th, 2009 under the sponsorship of The PearlRichards Foundation. The workshop theme was Fashion, Technology and The Woman. The workshop educated 125 participants, comprising of 72 women, on new technologies – including 3D body Scanning – in fashion design and marketing. The next workshop, fashTECH 2010 will be organized on 4th and 5th November 2010 in Accra, Ghana.
